CLM Schools Work

Our involvement in schools

CLM Schools Work helps schools deliver excellent education on some of the most pressing issues of our cultural moment, positively equipping young people whilst enabling schools to meet the requirements of OFSTED. Here at CLM we are incredibly passionate about the lives of young people, and we recognise the essential part that schools play in shaping the lives of young people in positive ways. Our desire is to partner with schools in our city to help bring about transformation.

We deliver sessions across three main themes:

1.    Christianity Explored

2.    Dignify (Exclusive to Secondary Schools)

CLM Schools work seeks to facilitate lessons and assemblies that create opportunities for pupils to be reflective by us asking the question “What do you think?”, encouraging your pupils to think a bit deeper about issues that are so important to their lives.

How it Works:

Focussing on one of our core themes, each session is based on the message of hope rooted in Christianity. Within our School’s Work package, we offer quality, engaging and dynamic assemblies and sessions considering the PSHE and RE curriculum, delivered by experienced youth communicators.

This has been an exciting aspect of CLM Schools Work since October 2024 when we launched a weekly Christian lunch club. We are currently running two lunch clubs in two secondary schools in the city which are a vibrant space where young people can have fun and grow in their faith. One of our aims with this is to help students lead and facilitate these spaces for themselves. We recognise that young people have so much potential and believe that they can be the ones to bring about change in their schools.
