Prayer
Prayer is an extremely high value for us as a church – privately and corporately. We carry a deep conviction that prayer changes things. Firstly, it changes us! Secondly, it is abundantly clear to see from scripture that the early church was powered by prayer. It was undoubtedly one of the most highly-valued priorities of the early disciples as they experienced the birth of the Church and the explosive advancement of the Gospel. Every move of God in history has been preceded by fervent prayer.
Prayer Gatherings
Prayer and Praise
Each month, we hold a Prayer and Praise gathering, with time to worship and pray, both collectively and in small groups. These currently take place in person at CLM and they provide a great opportunity for us to come together as church family to call on the Name of Jesus. The dates are profiled within our services and we invite all who call CLM ‘home church’ to prioritise these times together.
Prayer and Fasting
We hold regular periods of Prayer and Fasting throughout the year, including our 21 Days of Prayer each January, and then, typically we will hold ‘3 Days of Prayer & Fasting’ each quarter. These are really significant times for us as church, as we set time aside to seek the Lord on a deeper level.

Sundays – The Church Gathered
Mondays – Health & Protection
Tuesday – Bringing the Kingdom
Wednesday – Spiritual Growth

Friday – Provision
Saturdays – Relationships

Prayer Army
Many members of the CLM congregation serve as part of CLM’s “Prayer Army”. This is a vital group in the life of CLM, dedicated to praying for the CLM congregation and ministries and over specific matters as they arise. The Prayer Army receives month updates and also urgent requests by email or text.
Prayer Resources
In January 2020, as part of our ’21 Days of Prayer’, we taught into 4 specific Biblical and devotional prayers, which we encourage the congregation to use in private prayer:
