What is the Marriage Course?
The Marriage Course is a series of seven sessions designed to help couples invest in their relationship and build a strong and lasting marriage. The course is set in an environment that seeks to create a relaxed evening. You will be sat at your own table 'for two', with table cloth, candles, soft lighting and everything you need for a relaxing but informative evening. This also means discussion sessions are private to you as a couple.
The course, while based on Christian principles, is very helpful for any couple, with or without a Christian faith or church background, at any stage in married life. It was founded by Nicky and Sila Lee who are co-authors of The Marriage Book and have been married for over forty years.
Over the seven sessions the course will help you to:
Communicate more effectively
Grow closer by learning methods to resolve conflict
Recover from ways you may have hurt each other
Recognise how your upbringing affects your relationship
Improve relations with parents and in-laws
Develop greater sexual intimacy
Discover each other's 'love language' and much, much more...
